EDUCATING FOR GOOD
At Emmaus Classical Academy, we believe that a good education doesn’t just come from memorization or listening to lectures. We believe that learning is meant to help us become virtuous people and that learning should be joyous and meaningful. We don't merely "read old books" like some classically-influenced programs. We believe that anything can be a text and that the soul of learning is in discussion in community. Through our Socratic discussions, students learn to discern truth from error, good from evil, and beauty from ugliness. We aim to educate the whole soul to help students tune their actions to biblical justice, their hearts toward love, and their minds toward wonder. Instead of learning in a vacuum, our students learn and grow in community under the leadership of highly skilled mentors.
We offer a full series of humanities courses for 9th through 12th grade. Come grow with us!
